Removal of small keloids on nose (for professionals or people experienced the same thing)?

i use to have bad acne on my nose, and they left scars in keloid form on my nose, i'm very disturbed by it. i have been doing research and i do know that corticosteroid, surgery and silicone sheet can help, and i've enquired information from my skin doctor(for treating acne) about them. however my doctor say corticosteroid may cause a depression on my nose instead if the amount is not right. silicone sheet does not really work and surgery involve risks. is my doctor correct? and can you all pls recommend what you think is the best for me? thanks!

Treatment Of Keloids:

Keloids are generally treated with injections of steroids at regular intervals. After few injections the keloid reduces in size. Some surgeons may remove keloid with laser and then inject the site with steroid to stop keloid formation. Silicone gels and sheetings are also used to treat keloids. Your doctor is the best person to tell you about treatment of such scars.
