Can Keloids on the skin be treated to disappear totally ?

Not usually. To have a keloid disappear totally, you have to have it surgically removed. The surgeon cuts around the scar and sews the sides back together. Of course, this can also create a new keloid scar. Some people tend towards keloid formation, and some people don't.

I'd talk to a plastic surgeon if this is something you're interested in. Over the counter remedies like lotions and such just don't work. It's a genetic thing.
