Tats are not all that unless you've been through a hard life.
If your skin keloids can you have plastic surgery? What about get a tattoo?
I am a keloid former and my dermatologist said that the scars from plastic surgery may heal in a less than attractive way - and he said I can't even get my ears pierced. I've had many surgeries and my scars are very pronounced and ugly (they are on my abdomen). I am unwilling, myself, to have plastic surgery and end up with and ugly stripe on my face. Not sure about a tattoo - since it is just on the surface of skin and doesn't cut through the layers.
