Any one have keloids? What are they and what can you do about them.?

Keloids are overproduction of keratin which is a part of scar formation. As you continue to bring trauma to the area like pricking or scratching, it will continue to grow bigger so avoid bringing trauma to it. You can have it injected with steriods to somehow improve its looks and look for as pulsed dye laser..it will really help in making it smaller. Go to your dermatologist for this. God bless!

Keloids are scar tissue and nothing can be done about it except plastic surgery. You will be replacing one scar for a different one. Live with it.
Reply:keloids are scar tissue gone wild.....they have a tendency to occur on the earlobes, sternum..... and you could have them removed by surgery.....
