Have any of you had keloids by where you got your ear pierced?

If so, did you have any luck getting rid of it, and ever getting your ears pierced again.

Have any of you had keloids by where you got your ear pierced?
A keloid is nothing more than an extra large scar. Keloids tend to occur mainly in people of African heritage. They are not dangerous and are mainly a cosmetic problem. A good plastic surgeon can excise them with good cosmetic effect. However, once a person is known to develop keloids there is a risk that they will develop other keloids at the site of any skin scar, including a surgical incision. Careful repiercing by a medical professional may avoid regrowth of other keloids.
Reply:No, i have not.
Reply:I don't have any piercing. But I think that if you produce keloids, like me, is better that you avoid to make you a piercing o tatoo on your body because always there is a risk, a keloid can be produced for a simple spot.
Reply:My ears are currently at a 0 and when I first got them to an 8 the right one formed a keloid. It took a long time to go away because I popped it. Yeah they suck so keep clean and you should have no problems.
