A friend of mine just confided in me that she has a keloid on her ****(its not big maybe like the size of a nickel or maybe a quarter,if that big) and she gets self conscious about wearing fitted pants cause she doesnt want people to notice it..and she was wondering what she could do about it.

i have keloids, well, lets just say, scattered across my body. Keloids can flatten over time, but she can speed up the process with constant pressure. Lycra fibers in her underwear can do the trick... or if she wants to be more agressive, she can buy silicone patches to place on the area. curad and neosporin both make scar therapy patches for relatively cheap. if it's really a problem, tell her to look for a reconstructive surgeon that has experience with keloids or hypertrophic scars ( a close cousin of keloids). hope i was helpful.
Reply:She needs to make piece with it....unless she can have laser surgery.....and there's no guarantee it won't make it worse.
OH....how about having it incorporated into a tattoo.
