Yes it's very possible. The scar tissue will keep over lapping. Especially if it's in the same place as one appeared before. If I were you I would honestly avoid the ear piercing, and talk to your doctor and a tattoo artist about getting a tattoo. At the tattoo shops they will be very hesitant if you are prone to an allergic reaction or anything of the kind. But talk to your doctor so he/she can give you all the facts.
Reply:I was going to take you seriously... but wanting to get a tattoo is just plain stupid.. so you are on your own.
Reply:Uhh No, you're not going to get a keloid from a tattoo.
Reply:Yeah, I have that kelloid problem too, and I hate it!
Reply:sometimes, if you are prone to keloids ask the tattoo practitioner - he would probably reccommend that you not get one.
Reply:I don't think so. Then again, I am no expert...I get keloids too though (when I get my cartilage pierced). I hate it!
Reply:It is possible...In which area of the body are keloids most likely to appear?

Keloids develop most often on the chest, back, shoulders, and earlobes. They rarely develop on the face (with the exception of the jawline).

Keloids and piercing

Keloids can develop following the minor injuries that occur with body piercing. Since doctors do not understand the precise reasons why some people are more prone to develop keloids, it is impossible to predict whether piercing will lead to keloid formation. Although there are some families which seem prone to form keloids, for the most part, it's impossible to tell who will develop a keloid. One person might, for instance, develop a keloid in one earlobe after piercing and not in the other. It makes sense, however, for someone who has formed one keloid to avoid any elective surgery or piercing, especially in body areas prone to scarring.
