Conservative:
1.By giving intrakeloidal injection of steroids.-Best
2.By giving intrakeloidal injection of Vitamin A- better result
3.Intrakeloidal injection of Methotrexate - with some success.
4.Deep X- ray therapy- only with some success.
5.Intrakeloidal injection of Hyaluronidase - may be tried.
Surgery:
1. Excision and re suturing but recurs.
2.Shaving away the excess scar tissue and then resurfacing the area by the skin graft.-not with good results.
Whats the best way to remove keloids from the skin?
Plastic surgery. I have a huge one on my throat from multiple surgeries from cancer, and it won't go away unless I have plastic surgery. They do sell creams for them, I don't know how well they work. Best advice, ask your Dr.
Reply:steroid injection twice a month, then surgical removal, but it might just get it worst.
